Job summary

Senior Test Engineer at Stryker Corporation will lead performance and lifecycle testing for next‑gen medical devices in the Instruments Test Lab. You will coordinate testing activities, develop test protocols, and act as primary technical contact between Lab and Product Development to ensure on‑time delivery.

The role emphasizes strong lab practices, collaboration with Metrology, Quality, CAE, and Test Operations, and potential second/third shift coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science is required; Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a B.S.
• Understanding of testing, equipment, GxP & department metrics.
• Proficient use of common laboratory test equipment required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct performance and lifecycle testing for medical devices.
• Serve as testing representative between Test Lab and Product Development.
• Determine test protocols and develop new methodologies.
• Coordinate testing with other lab staff and shifts as needed.
• Support priorities, scheduling, and technician training within projects.
