Job summary

Boston Scientific Corporation in Minneapolis area is hiring a Technical Writer III to develop and maintain IFUs, patient manuals and product labels for medical devices. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, clinical and marketing teams to translate complex information into user-friendly content that meets regulatory standards.

The role requires at least 5 years of technical writing experience in a medical device environment, strong writing and editing skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical communication, English, biomedical engineering, life sciences or related discipline.
• Advanced degree in technical communication, English or related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in technical writing within a medical device environment.
• Experience with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with CMS and QMS.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit and maintain clear, accurate instructions for use (IFUs), patient manuals and product labels.
• Translate complex technical and medical information into concise, accessible documentation for clinicians and patients.
• Lead cross-functional reviews with engineering, quality, clinical, regulatory, marketing and manufacturing teams for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure documentation meets FDA, ISO and EU MDR requirements and maintains traceability.
• Create and manage revision histories to support risk management.
• Develop project plans and coordinate timelines for documentation activities.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality and consistency.
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve questions and ensure successful outcomes.
