Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Sourcing Engineer to lead sourcing for components, assemblies, materials and manufacturing processes in a regulated medical‑device environment. You will own projects from supplier identification through technical evaluation, quotation, development and qualification, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering or sourcing, experience with external manufacturers, reading engineering drawings, and supplier

Qualifications

• 7+ years in engineering, sourcing or related fields.
• Experience with medical device manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience interpreting drawings, specs, and BOMs.
• Supplier qualification and development in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing for components, assemblies, materials, and processes for new and existing products.
• Identify, evaluate, and select external manufacturers based on capability, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Interpret drawings, specs, tolerances, and BOMs to meet requirements.
• Drive supplier qualification and development and perform process capability assessments.
