Job summary

Medline is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead cross-functional product development teams for medical devices. You will drive design from concept through 510(k) submission and into launch, developing specifications and managing critical timelines to meet project goals.

The role requires strong Solidworks and 3D CAD skills, experience with design controls, and a track record of launching Class II medical devices. Hybrid work in Northfield, IL is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/biomedical/electrical/software engineering.
• 7+ years in product design in medical device environment preferred.
• Experience with Solidworks and 3D modeling; CAD/physical prototyping required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product development teams to design new devices and technologies.
• Coordinate design efforts from ideation to 510(k) submission and launch.
• Develop specifications, manage timelines, and balance priorities.
• Collaborate with regulatory, quality, legal, and manufacturing teams.
