Job summary

EXALTA Group is seeking a Sr. Buyer in Bonita Springs, FL to plan and manage purchase orders for raw materials and indirect/MRO items in a regulated medical device environment.

You will optimize inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with FDA/ISO13485. Experience with ERP/MRP systems is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of purchasing experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, QAD, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Computer Science and Engineering, or a related field.
• APICS CPIM / CSCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily MRP recommendations and manage planned purchase orders, reschedules, expedites, de-expedites, and cancellations.
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, lead times, and replenishment parameters to optimize inventory investment while maintaining service levels.
• Identify and resolve material shortages to minimize production disruptions.
• Issue and manage purchase orders for assigned commodities and suppliers.
• Maintain supplier delivery performance through regular communication with Corporate Sourcing.
