Job summary

EXALTA GROUP is seeking a Sr. Buyer in Bonita Springs, FL to lead material planning and purchasing for direct and indirect materials. The role ensures on-time delivery, strong supplier relationships, and alignment with manufacturing and quality teams.

In a regulated FDA/ISO 13485 environment, you will optimize inventory levels, manage ERP/MRP-driven purchase orders, and support continuous improvement in procurement processes across supplier bases.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of purchasing experience in a discrete manufacturing environment.
• Experience in medical device, life sciences, aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, QAD, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of FDA quality systems and ISO 13485 procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily MRP recommendations and manage planned purchase orders, reschedules, expedites, de-expedites, and cancellations.
• Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, lead times, and replenishment parameters to optimize inventory investment.
• Proactively identify and resolve material shortages to minimize production disruptions.
• Issue and manage purchase orders for assigned commodities and suppliers; follow up PO receipts for prompt supplier payment.
• Develop and track KPIs including supplier on-time delivery, purchase price variance, and inventory turns.
