Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. in Utah seeks a production assembler to perform a variety of complex medical assembly and processing tasks as part of a dedicated production team.

You will rotate through the assembly line, performing all required production operations, with on-line and in-process visual inspections to ensure conformance to work orders and procedures. The role requires the ability to work with precision, follow repetitive instructions, and cooperate with teammates to meet line rate

Qualifications

• Six months of related work experience in assembly/manufacturing operations.
• Ability to rotate through and perform all assembly line tasks including technical tasks.
• Ability to visually check work and identify proper assembly.
• Ability to follow instructions in repetitive tasks.
• Attentiveness and teamwork to meet line rate expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex medical assembly and processing tasks as a production team member.
• Rotate through the assembly line performing all production operations.
• Conduct on-line and in-process visual inspection for conformance to specs.
• Assist with product and/or machine change-overs.
• Operate equipment and ensure quality of assembled products.
• Adhere to safety standards and work instructions.
• Support testing equipment for periodic product/process testing.
• Overtime may be required.
• Perform other related assembly tasks as needed.
