Spire Orthopedic Partners is seeking an experienced Coding Team Lead to mentor the coding team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant coding for all patient services. The role focuses on onboarding coders, training, and maintaining high-quality coding practices across the MSO network.

The position requires a high school diploma, ICD-10 certification, and 5+ years of direct coding experience with 3+ years in claims filing.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from either AAPC and/or AHIMA.
• ICD-10 certification required.
• Proficient with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and claims filing principles.

Responsabilidades

• Onboard new coders and participate in interviews with Revenue Integrity Manager.
• Train and review systems for new coders.
• Ensure charts are coded timely and accurately.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure proper coding.
• Monitor coder workload and back-up plans for vacations and absences.
• Assist in coding staff evaluations and as liaison between providers and RCM team.
• Support internal/external chart audits and reviews as needed.
