Conifer Physician Services in Frisco, TX is seeking a SPEC, PHYS SVC CODING II to code physician charges using ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers from medical records. Experience with denials, pre-bill edits and multiple resources is required.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of coding experience, CPC/CCS-P or equivalent certification, and strong knowledge of coding regulations. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years coding experience.
• Knowledge of coding rules and regulations (CCI, LCD, NCD).
• Ability to review and resolve coding denials and pre-bill edits.

Responsibilities

• Assign ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and modifiers codes from documentation.
• Review and resolve pre-bill edits and coding denials.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards (95.5% in audits).
• Present coding issues to peers or clients and communicate clearly.
