Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Code hospital encounters for inpatient and outpatient diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT guidelines.
• Apply hierarchy for hydration, infusion charging and proper modifiers.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology and surgical terminology through continuing education to apply coding guidelines.
• Ensure accurate reflection of services provided in medical records.
