Job summary

Qualifications

• Three to five years experience in third party medical billing.
• Experience with CPT and ICD-10 coding and GAAP accounting principles.
• Strong math skills and knowledge of A/R processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitors accounts receivable by age and date of service.
• Communicates with insurance carriers, patients or medical office staff to adjudicate accounts.
• Post payments and denials; process refunds and secondary claims.
• Maintain monthly spreadsheets and provide reporting to Finance.
• Ensure compliance with privacy guidelines and confidentiality.
