Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs daily posting of payments, imports remits and reconciles payments.
• Stays current with payer requirements for billing and communicates trends and denial patterns to improve processes.
• Reviews claim edits to achieve clean claims and timely submission to payers.
• Processes and corrects insurance denials; manages AR aging to maximize reimbursement.
• Scans documentation into the archiving system and provides customer service regarding claims.
• Collaborates with departments to resolve denials and appeals and to prevent future issues.
