Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCD/LCDs, CMS Manual, NCCI Edits, and coding guidelines.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and independent work ability.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Audit medical records to extract clinical information and assign codes (ICD-10-CM, CPT).
• Ensure coding accuracy in outpatient records.
• Support production targets in a remote work setting.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards.
