Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant III for General Oncology. The MA III supports clinicians with patient care, preps for procedures, and helps maintain smooth clinic flow across the health system.

The role serves as a team member and preceptor, working with leadership on training and process improvements. WA CMA certification, BLS, and ambulatory clinic experience are preferred. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ABHES/CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Current WA Certified Medical Assistant and familiar with WA practice standards.
• Current BLS/Health Provider Card required.
• Minimum two years’ MA experience in ambulatory care preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary preceptor/trainer for new hires and staff.
• Assist nurse or provider with procedures as indicated.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership on operational strategies and process improvement.
