Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Medical Assistant Registered to support the South Lake Union General Oncology Clinic. You will help with patient flow, document vitals, assist with procedures, and maintain exam rooms in a fast-paced oncology setting.

The role requires WA state MA registration within 30 days, BLS, CPR, strong communication, and the ability to multitask. Typical shifts are 8 hours, Monday–Friday, with competitive wages and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months of healthcare experience required.
• Registered Medical Assistant in Washington state within 30 days.
• Current WA Surgical Technologist registration within 30 days, as applicable.
• BLS/CPR certification and renewal every two years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam/procedure areas and greet patients.
• Document vitals and patient information per policy.
• Assist with procedures as directed by clinicians.
• Maintain clinic flow, transport patients, and restock rooms.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and health care team.
