Job summary

Millennium-Physician-Group in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking an experienced Certified/Registered Medical Assistant III to join our primary care clinic. You will support providers, manage patient flow, document accurately, and help maintain a patient-centered environment.

The role requires 2–3 years of primary care MA experience, active CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, BLS, and proficiency with labs, injections, EHRs, and translation for English/Spanish patients.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Primary Care MA experience.
• Active CMA/RMA/CCMA certification and BLS.
• Strong communication and teamwork; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, histories, medications, and allergies.
• Assist with exams, minor procedures, wound care, tests.
• Perform EKGs, immunizations, injections, specimen collection.
• Prepare labs, process samples, manage room setup.
• Schedule, referrals, authorizations, and charting in EHRS.
• Maintain HIPAA/compliance and infection control.
