Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Pahrump Clinic is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support the clinical team in a busy ambulatory setting. You will assist providers, collect visit information, and communicate with patients by phone and in person to ensure smooth flows.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, 40 hours per week, competitive hourly pay, and education assistance up to $5,250 annually plus opportunities for career growth within Intermountain.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year MA experience or current RN/LPN license in Utah.
• Current BLS certification required before start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.
• Utah: MA residency program if certified with less than one year MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by assisting the provider and gathering information relative to the visit and condition.
• Communicate clearly with patients via phone and in-person interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
