Intermountain Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the clinical team in a Pahrump clinic setting. You will assist the provider in gathering patient information, communicate with patients via multiple channels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality care.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, privacy, and effective teamwork, with opportunities for education assistance and career growth within Intermountain Health.

Competenze

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year of MA work experience OR current active RN/LPN license to practice nursing in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.
• Utah Only: If certified with less than one year of MA experience, caregivers may attend a yearlong MA residency program.
