Providence Swedish Medical Group in Seattle, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant III who will assist in patient care under a licensed practitioner and serve as an informal leader with additional responsibilities for the clinic. The role involves mentoring Medical Assistants, providing guidance, and supporting quality care initiatives.

The MA III will act as an ambassador and change agent within the clinic, with a focus on patient-focused, whole-person care and collaboration across teams.

Qualificações

• Two years of medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or apprenticeship.

The MA III works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA III is capable of performing all aspects of the MA I and MA II roles. Additionally, the MA III proactively takes initiative and serves as an informal leader with additional responsibilities related to clinic/location. MA III serves as an ambassador, change agent, quality champion, and mentor/resource to Medical Assistants by providing support, guidance, and training as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or,
• Coursework/Training:Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or,
• Coursework/Training:Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 2 years Experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
• 6 months Working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
