Qualifications

• Provides patient care under the direction of a physician or licensed professional.
• Performs phlebotomy, electrocardiography (EKGs), point-of-care testing and injections.
• Maintains accurate patient history and charting in the medical record.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs and patient history with charting in the patient record.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triages calls and communicates lab results with provider using proper medical terminology.
• Assists provider by preparing patients for exams, procedures and treatments.
