Job summary

Covenant Medical Group in Texas seeks a Senior Medical Assistant (MA III) to support licensed practitioners in delivering patient care. The role builds on MA I/II duties and adds proactive leadership at the clinic level.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical medical assisting training.
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Completed two years of medical training or at least 1 year of clinical medical assisting experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 2 years of medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 2 years of high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment with discretion.
• 6 months working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed practitioner in patient care under direction.
• Perform MA I/II level duties and provide clinic/location leadership when needed.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to Medical Assistants as a mentor/resource.
