Job summary

Providence Covenant Medical Group seeks a Senior Medical Assistant (MA III) to work under licensed practitioner supervision and perform advanced MA duties. The MA III will take initiative, mentor staff, and serve as a liaison to improve clinic operations and patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants OR graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program.
• Required: Two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces OR minimum 1 year MA experience including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
• 2 years experience in high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment, handling confidential data with discretion.
• 6 months working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years.
