Job summary

Vera Whole Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant III to support our primary care clinic in Everett, WA. This role combines advanced MA duties with leadership in workflow, audits, and training within a busy clinic.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of MA experience, MA-C certification, phlebotomy training, and CPR/BLS. You will contribute to patient flow, accuracy in EMR documentation, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) required.
• Graduate of an accredited MA program.
• Minimum 3 years MA experience, primary/urgent care preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days if applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification and negative TB test within 90 days.
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform MA I/II/III clinical duties: vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, immunizations.
• Lead workflow support, audits, outreach, and training activities.
• Manage patient flow and exam room setup using sterile technique.
• Support front-office tasks as needed (phones, scheduling, registration).
• Document in EMR and ensure HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA compliance.
• Drive quality-control and compliance initiatives and audits.
