Community Healthcare Network, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our teams at multiple NYC centers, supporting nursing staff and providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

MA I/II responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, handling records, and patient counseling, with emphasis on continuity and privacy. Requires NY state MA certification and BLS; full-time, on-site work across Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• New York State Medical Assistant Certification required.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of hire.

Aufgaben

• Take vital signs (BP, HR, RR, T, HT, WT) and assist with procedures.
• Provide medical triage and support to providers and nurses.
• Manage and update medical records with accuracy.
• Stock rooms and assist with ordering medications and supplies.
• Counsel patients on health topics, including HIV counseling.
• Maintain infection control practices and confidentiality.
