Responsibilities

• Greets patients in courteous, friendly, respectful and professional manner.
• Gathers and documents brief history and chief complaint in the medical record.
• Performs vital signs and risk screening; reports out of range values to the provider.
• Prepares patient for examination and assists with procedures.
• Performs routine clinical testing (blood/urine, vision/hearing, ECG, etc.).
• Provides education materials as directed by the provider.
• Maintains supplies and ensures equipment is ready for use.
• Assists in front desk operations and patient flow as needed.

Education
