PeaceHealth in Eugene, OR is seeking a Medical Assistant - Senior Health for a full-time, day shift. The role supports physicians and providers in patient care within MOA scope.

You will prepare patients, assist with exams, take history and vitals, administer injections, maintain rooms and equipment, manage records in EMR, and collaborate across teams. Requires MOA certification or Accredited MA program and Oregon-specific credentialing; BLS preferred.

Competenze

• Accredited MA or MOA program; supports MOA certification exam if eligible.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office preferred.
• National MA certifications accepted per Oregon requirements (AAMA CMA, AMT RMA, NHA CMAC, NCCT, AMCA, AAH, NAHPUSA, etc.).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.

Mansioni

• Prepare patients for examinations and anesthesia interview; record history and vitals.
• Prepare exam/treatment rooms; maintain supplies and equipment.
• Administer injections; apply splints/dressings; assist in wound care per provider orders.
• Sterilize and maintain treatment supplies; transport specimens as needed.
• Help schedule tests and follow-up appointments; maintain patient files and EMR data.
• Screen patients by phone and route to appropriate clinical staff.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth clinic operations.
