Sentara Behavioral Health Mobile MAT Clinic in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a Full-Time Senior Certified Medical Assistant to support patients across the Mobile Behavioral Health team. You will perform patient care tasks under supervision and handle routine administrative duties to keep the clinic running smoothly.

Requirements include HS diploma, BLS within 90 days, and current MA or EMT-B certification (CCMA, RMA, EMT-B).

Competenze

• Three years of patient care required.
• Experience with patients with substance use disorders preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Current, valid Medical Assistant or EMT-Basic certification (CCMA/RMA/EMT-B).

Overview

Sentara Behavioral Health Mobile MAT Clinic is hiring a Full-Time Senior Certified Medical Assistant to join our Mobile Behavioral Health team, providing care and support to patients throughout Virginia Beach, VA, and the surrounding communities.

Hours

Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, Day Shift, must be flexible with working hours.

Overview

Perform patient care related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluation, and as delegated or assigned by and/or under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner (NP)/Physician Assistant (PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Perform administrative duties, as appropriate.

Experience

• Three Years of Patient Care Required


• Experience supporting patients with substance use disorders in a clinical, behavioral health, or community setting highly preferred.

Education

• HS - High School Grad or Equivalent Required

Certification/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification Required within 90 days of hire


• Current, unexpired certification as a Medical Assistant or EMT-Basic from an approved nationally recognized credentialing organization is required (CCMA, RMA, EMT-B)


• Medication Administration (certification/training), preferred.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $24.95 - $35.95 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
