Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant Medicaid policy or health policy consulting experience.
• Experience analyzing Medicaid policy, program design, payment policy, delivery systems, or operational implementation.
• Experience with alternative payment models, value-based care, or other healthcare payment reforms.
• Ability to independently lead complex workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong written policy communication and client-facing materials development.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced client-service environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior Medicaid policy and implementation advisor supporting the AHEAD Model and CMS staff.
• Lead and coordinate Medicaid work across AHEAD task teams with clear work plans.
• Provide policy consultation and translate complex policy for diverse audiences.
• Analyze federal/state Medicaid policies and translate findings into options and recommendations.
• Design and lead technical assistance strategies for states and stakeholders.
• Review deliverables for accuracy, policy alignment, and usability.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to project planning and business development.
