Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in health policy, public health, health administration, economics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in research, policy analysis, program evaluation, or health care/public health administration.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects and supervising staff.
• Direct experience with Medicaid (beneficiary, health plan, state program, or research) valued.

Aufgaben

• Lead quantitative and qualitative research projects from scoping to dissemination with rigor and relevance.
• Supervise and mentor research staff, fellows, or interns on design, analysis, and development.
• Synthesize information from administrators, researchers, and advocates; produce memos, briefs, and presentations.
• Develop deep expertise on Medicaid policy topics and subpopulations across program areas.
• Monitor state and federal Medicaid policy changes and assess impacts on beneficiaries and providers.
• Acquire and manage quantitative data from multiple sources; conduct analyses with SAS, Stata, R, and Excel.
• Manage relationships with data providers, consultants, and collaborators; ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Produce briefs, reports, data visualizations, and presentations for policymakers and the public.
• Develop interview protocols and lead qualitative interviews with senior stakeholders; translate findings into recommendations.
• Represent UHF externally by presenting findings at conferences and policy forums.
• Contribute to strategic planning and priority setting for the Medicaid Institute’s research agenda.
