Job summary

Infinite Computing Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Medicaid Management Information System implementation from start to finish. You will define schedule, scope, budget, and risk mitigation while coordinating with vendors and state teams.

You will monitor progress, manage the critical path, gather requirements, and report to executives and legislative bodies on milestones and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years project management experience in technology projects in health care or state government.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage to deadlines and the critical path for project success.
• Ability to gather requirements and prioritize execution of data aggregation, analytics, and report development.
• Ability to actively work to expose issues as early as possible and work with Management to resolve.
• Ability to identify decision-making issues and key stakeholders, develop and implement strategies to encourage and obtain stakeholder and/or community awareness and support, and identify project partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the new Medicaid Management Information System modules and components from beginning to end, identifying schedule, scope, budget, implementation plan, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with all vendors and project managers via a master schedule and project governance to monitor risks, schedule, and deliverables.
• Ensure end product meets requirements and deliverables for the EDW
• Coordinate resources across multiple vendors and state teams through planning, implementation, go-live, and certification
• Analyse project progress and adapt when necessary
• Establish and maintain relationships and provide updates to appropriate audiences as needed
• Present to department executives and legislative body on project progress
