Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Healthcare Encounter Analyst - Senior to handle Medicaid encounter reconciliation within the State Medicaid Encounters team. You will investigate and correct rejected Medicaid encounters, examine configurations, and deliver client-facing metrics.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to work with SAS and AS400. Expect collaboration with clients and multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional work experience with data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience using Excel in a professional or academic setting.
• Preferred: 3+ years of professional work experience in data analysis or related field.
• Preferred: Medicaid Encounter experience and/or PBM experience.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze and correct Medicaid encounters previously submitted or rejected.
• Examine setups/configurations and compare text files to identify trends and data issues.
• Provide recurring metric reports to clients, using SAS/AS400 outputs.
• Lead conference calls and clearly communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
