Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Healthcare Encounter Analyst - Senior for claim reconciliation in the State Medicaid Encounters department. You will research, analyze and correct Medicaid encounters generated by Pharmacy, communicating findings to clients and supporting performance metrics.

Ideal candidates have experience with SAS or AS400, strong data analysis and Excel skills, and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional work experience with data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience using Excel in a professional or academic setting.
• High school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of professional work experience in data analysis is preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid encounters or PBM is advantageous.
• Strong problem solving and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze and correct previously submitted, rejected Medicaid encounters.
• Examine setups/configurations and compare text files to identify trends.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key client parties and provide recurring metric reports.
• Lead or participate in client meetings and convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
