Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Healthcare Encounter Analyst - Senior to reconcile Medicaid encounters in the State Medicaid Encounters department. You will analyze and correct rejected encounters, examining configurations and data to ensure integrity, while serving a designated set of clients and presenting recurring metrics.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, strong communication, and collaboration with clients to deliver insights and improvements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional work experience with data analysis.
• 2+ years of experience using Excel in a professional or academic setting.
• 3+ years of professional work experience, preferably in data analysis.
• Experience with Medicaid PBM a plus.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze and correct submitted Medicaid encounters.
• Identify trends or issues in data to improve data integrity.
• Prepare and deliver recurring metrics reports to clients.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in client meetings.
