Job summary

CrowdStrike, a global cybersecurity leader, seeks a Senior Manager of Media Relations to shape narratives around products, business and executives. You will drive high-impact earned media aligned with our objectives, reporting to the Senior Director of Public Relations and Media Strategy, leveraging deep cybersecurity media relationships.

Qualifications

• 10–14+ years of public relations experience, including at least 5 years focused on cybersecurity.
• Deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry, competitive landscape, and key trends shaping the market.
• Established network of cybersecurity media contacts and relationships with influential reporters across technology, business, and financial media.
• Proven track record of developing, pitching, and securing high-impact earned media coverage, including top-tier feature stories and executive profiles.
• Strong news judgment and the ability to identify compelling stories and turn complex developments into coverage.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for pitches, briefing materials, and media messaging.
• Fluency with AI tools to sharpen research, monitoring, and content while preserving judgment and relationships.
• Experience working with senior executives and preparing them for high-profile media engagements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive media relations strategies driving high-impact earned coverage.
• Build and leverage relationships with top-tier cybersecurity/media outlets to secure meaningful coverage.
• Identify and pitch compelling stories that showcase CrowdStrike’s leadership and innovations.
• Drive executive media engagement including interviews, features, and thought leadership.
• Translate complex cybersecurity trends into timely narratives that resonate with reporters.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop media strategies and briefing materials.
• Monitor media landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Partner with regional PR teams to extend narratives and achieve consistent results.
