Job summary

Fox Corporation is seeking a Senior Media Platform Engineer to build and operate the workflow orchestration and integration layer powering internal media services and AI-enabled workflows. You will coordinate across engineering teams to translate needs into governed workflows from POC to production, standardizing how workflows are defined, validated, released, and monitored.

You will help ensure reliability and maintainability with automation, testing, and observability as core practices.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional software engineering experience building/operating production services.
• Strong cloud-native development experience with containers and CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript; comfortable with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL data systems and messaging.
• Experience bringing AI/ML capabilities into production workflows.
• Ability to debug production issues and implement durable fixes.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement workflow orchestration for media and AI pipelines (definitions, routing, scheduling, retries).
• Build platform services that standardize workflow execution across dev/test/prod.
• Create reusable workflow templates, SDKs, and integration patterns.
• Establish policy and guardrails for workload isolation with platform/SRE teams.
• Partner with AI/ML stakeholders on model options and lifecycle in production workflows.
• Support model deployment patterns, versioning, rollbacks, and reproducibility.
• Define production-ready criteria: telemetry, runbooks, documentation, and support handoffs.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for workflow services and ensure observability through logs/metrics.
