Job summary

Fox Corporation is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Information Security, to drive cybersecurity strategy through software engineering, automation, and emerging AI capabilities. The role focuses on automating processes, codifying workflows, and building enterprise-grade services to advance security across the organization.

You will explore LLMs, AI agents, tool-calling, and interoperability standards to safely automate security at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• Creating high-quality production-grade services.
• Building enterprise-grade solutions using AWS.
• Effectively using AI coding agents and AI-assisted software development workflows.
• Proficiency with Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
• Experience with modern application development frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Building AI-enabled security systems with tool use, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Familiarity with on-prem and cloud environments is valuable.
• Regular on-site attendance at least 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cybersecurity strategy through software engineering and automation.
• Implement solutions that provide visibility into on-prem and cloud environments.
• Automate security workflows using AI agents, MCP servers, and emerging technologies.
• Build security software and micro-services for internal teams.
• Design, build, and maintain API infrastructure for multi-platform apps.
• Support colleagues in solving software engineering problems and maintaining solutions.
• Propose innovative solutions to mitigate cybersecurity problems.
• Collaborate with peers and internal customers on innovative solutions.
