Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a Med Lab Scientist 3 in Irving, TX for a Core Lab position. You will perform and monitor a full range of tests, assist supervision, uphold quality and safety standards, and ensure timely reporting of results in a high-volume laboratory.

The role requires a bachelor's degree (or 4 years of relevant experience) and at least 3 years of lab experience, with ASCP or equivalent certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience beyond minimum qualifications.
• 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• ASCP or equivalent certifications preferred or required per role.

Responsibilities

• Perform and monitor a full range of laboratory tests per procedures and regulations.
• Assist supervising lab operations and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Maintain quality control, safety, and infection control standards.
• Calibrate instruments, perform maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Report results accurately and manage supplies inventory.
