Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Madison, WI to lead installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.

You will oversee the Operations Maintenance team, design solutions for complex problems, and mentor technicians to ensure reliable asset performance. Responsibilities include maintaining conveyors, troubleshooting control systems, developing training plans, and creating work plans for emergency repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends nights and/or holidays.
• 3+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 3+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 2+ years of work order management.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Support Operations Maintenance by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.
• Train and mentor service and contract technicians.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems in the building.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
• Travel up to 20% at a minimum.
