About the Role

As a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will support the Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects. Additionally, you will train and mentor junior technicians and contract technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, including relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and motor starters.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close work orders, documenting labor hours, maintenance, and parts used.
• Support: Lead preventative maintenance procedures and mentor junior technicians.
• Communication: Foster positive relationships across the Operations facility.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as conveyors and controls
• 4+ years conducting preventative maintenance
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics
• 3+ years using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• 2+ years programming PLCs
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians
• Vendor management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical fields
• Experience with robotic operation and maintenance

Physical Demands:

• Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Work with PPE such as hard hats and face shields
• Perform tasks involving bending, reaching, and moving between departments
• Work in fluctuating temperatures in a warehouse environment
• Type on a computer for 1-2 hours daily
