Job summary

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to maintain design responsibility for specific projects and act as the main liaison with the project manager, workshops, vendors, and the client.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with heat transfer products. Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, and VBA/Excel is preferred, with Professional Engineer licensure a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in designing and project engineering.
• Experience with a manufacturing company in design and drafting.
• Design experience in heat transfer products.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Review/design drawings in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Inventor.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; VBA/Visual Basic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall design responsibility for assigned projects.
• Serve as primary contact for project manager, workshops, vendors, and client.
• Design mechanical/structural components per specs and standards.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/Requisitions promptly.
• Submit drawings and documentation per contract specs.
• Review vendor drawings and disposition non-conformances.
• Develop installation and operation manuals for clients.
