Job summary

Generac is seeking an Engineering Technician III to plan, execute, and evaluate advanced electrical, mechanical, and environmental test work on current and new product designs under supervision. You will partner with Engineering to identify issues, craft action plans, and ensure test requirements are defined and met.

This role supports ISO 17025 testing, maintains lab documentation, analyzes data, and contributes to continuous improvement and 5S activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5 years of relevant work experience in testing or lab environments.
• Proficiency with ISO 17025 laboratory practices and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up test equipment and products according to procedures.
• Perform tests on prototypes and existing products for mechanical, electrical and environmental criteria.
• Analyze test data and prepare reports; maintain lab documentation.
• Research and implement continuous improvement actions in the lab.
• Mentor developing Technicians and support ISO lab audits.
