Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Technician II to independently perform complex maintenance across pumps, motors, pneumatics, chiller operations, and gas systems. You will be the on-shift SME driving reliability improvements and safe, compliant operations.

The role requires hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while partnering with engineering and operations to optimize equipment performance.

Qualificações

Trade certificate, diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of progressive hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Advanced expertise with pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm, peristaltic, positive displacement), motors, pneumatics, chiller systems, and hydraulics.
Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical failures.
Proficiency with precision measurement instruments, laser alignment tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
In-depth knowledge of LOTO/LOTO-Plus, confined space entry, permit-to-work systems, and applicable regulatory standards.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
Experience with CMMS platforms (SAP PM, Maximo, or similar).
Multi-craft capabilities including intermediate electrical troubleshooting.
Hydraulic systems certification or chiller/refrigeration certification.

Responsabilidades

Independently couple, align, and commission pumps and motors per OEM specifications.
Lead preventive maintenance planning and execution for all pump and motor assets; develop and refine PM procedures.
Troubleshoot hydraulic circuits including pumps, cylinders, valves, accumulators, and hoses; conduct fluid sampling and interpret analysis.
Lead diagnosis and repair of pneumatic systems, including actuators, regulators, and control valve assemblies.
Analyze pneumatic system performance and recommend or implement design improvements and component upgrades.
Train and guide Technician I personnel on pneumatic system troubleshooting and safe practices.
Oversee chiller system performance including refrigeration cycle analysis, coolant management, and component-level repairs.
Interpret chiller operational data to proactively identify degradation trends and plan corrective actions.
Coordinate with vendors and OEM resources for complex refrigerant or compressor-related repairs.
Serve as the primary resource for gas and utility systems, ensuring safe operation and regulatory compliance.
