Job summary

Voyager Technologies, a defense, national security and space technology company, is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to be located onsite in Minden, LA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, including 480V equipment, while coordinating with controls resources.

The role requires a high school diploma and 7+ years in industrial maintenance, with a strong focus on safety, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with cross-functional

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 7+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Electrical knowledge up to 480V, including motors and VFDs.
• Basic understanding of PLCs and control systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance and records.
• Good problem-solving skills, works independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V.
• Support PLC troubleshooting with guidance.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Install, align, and commission new equipment.
• Maintain and repair facility utilities and infrastructure.
• Follow safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out and PPE.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams during operations.
