Job summary

Indotronix UK in Newton, NC is seeking a Mechanical Technician IV to support engineering projects for manufacturing capacity additions and line installations. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure on-time, safe installations.

The role requires an Associate degree in a mechanical/engineering field and 2+ years of equipment installation experience in manufacturing. Occasional overtime, CAD familiarity, and safety awareness are important for success.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree in mechanical/technical/engineering
• 2+ years' experience in new equipment installations in a manufacturing environment; startup experience a plus
• Relevant mechanical or industrial certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work practices and communicate hazards
• Manage installation and debugging to meet milestones for capacity additions
• Design and implement mechanical solutions to improve equipment capability
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues using data and collaboration
• Identify spare parts and manage storeroom entries
• Develop and update engineering and operations documentation
• Support training for operations on equipment changes
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems
• Align, test, and calibrate systems after installation
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety
• Collaborate with departments to implement process improvements
