Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, precision systems engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Two years’ experience in nanofabrication, precision machine design, mechatronics, systems and controls, instrumentation, roll‑to‑roll systems development.
  • Goal‑oriented and ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manages research projects, including defining and tracking project goals and milestones and supervising the work of research team members.
  • Designs, fabricates, assembles and tests equipment systems.
  • researches and coordinates the procurement of various equipment and sub‑systems.
  • Compiles reports on costs and inventory levels.
