Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Mechanical Systems Engineer in Randburg, Gauteng. You will design, integrate, and test complex mechanical systems within a multidisciplinary team, addressing performance, reliability, and safety across diverse applications.

The role requires a strong theoretical foundation and practical implementation experience, with a hybrid work model offering flexibility between office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical systems engineering or related role.
• Proven experience in designing and integrating complex mechanical assemblies.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and integrate mechanical subsystems into larger engineering projects.
• Perform system-level analysis, including performance, reliability, and safety assessments.
• Develop test plans and procedures, and oversee system testing and validation.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure compatibility and functionality of integrated systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues during development and deployment.
• Document system architecture, design decisions, and test results comprehensively.
