Job summary

MWH is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to support a Water Treatment Plant project in the Gresham, OR area. You will lead the process mechanical installation and supervise the installation subcontractor to ensure alignment with the project plan, emphasizing safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.

As the lead, review subcontractor plans, coordinate with engineering and project management teams, and manage field inspections, QA/QC, and crane safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant construction industry & supervision experience.
• Familiarity with current standards for process mechanical in water infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of construction safety, quality control and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical installation and supervise the installation subcontractor to align with the project plan, focusing on safety, quality, schedule and cost.
• Review and approve subcontractor construction plans and long lead equipment delivery dates.
• Coordinate work among subcontractors and with engineering and project management teams; review shop drawings and submittals.
• Plan field testing and inspections and ensure quality control; monitor safety compliance and attend progress meetings.
