Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead mechanical teams on large-scale projects from preconstruction through completion. You will be directly responsible for safety and quality, client relations, project budget, schedule and job controls.

You will manage project engineers and foremen, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure resources and adherence to policies and laws. Prior union-project experience preferred; strong leadership and communication required.

Qualifications

• Requires a strong background in mechanical construction and field leadership.
• Experience with union projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and manage large-scale mechanical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Ensure safety culture and quality standards on all activities.
• Coordinate with project staff, subcontractors, and clients to meet milestones and budgets.
• Maintain project schedule and adjust as needed to meet funding parameters.
• Manage resources, procurement, and vendor relations to support project goals.
