Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to lead large-scale mechanical projects from preconstruction through final completion. You will be responsible for safety, quality, client relations, and controlling project budgets and schedules.

You will guide Project Engineers, Foremen, and crew teams, coordinating with subcontractors to meet milestones and ensure smooth project flow. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management or mechanical engineering, 10

Qualifications

• 10 years field experience with a background as skilled tradesperson or
• 4-year engineering or construction management degree plus 7 years field experience
• Prior union project experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for crews
• Lead construction projects from start to finish including planning and scheduling
• Manage resources, budget, milestones and client relations
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to meet activity plans
• Direct Project Engineers and Foremen; ensure timely staff and tools
• Maintain CPM-based schedules and progress reporting
• Assist with start-up and closeout activities and problem resolution
