Job summary

Power Design seeks a Mechanical Superintendent to lead field teams, ensuring on-time project delivery with top safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate with trades, manage resources, and uphold company standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, an active HVAC or plumbing license, and strong knowledge of National Building Code and safety requirements, with fluent English and basic computing skills.

Qualifications

Extensive experience supervising field crews on large construction projects.
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
Excellent communication with clients, inspectors and trades.
Deep knowledge of construction safety standards and practices.
Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
Basic computer and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage, evaluate and train field project team members.
Plan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.
Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and general contractor to resolve conflicts and ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.
Manage material and personnel requirements to meet schedule.
Adhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety and best practices.
